The Pole needed three match points to seal it from deuce but never looked in any real danger against a Ukrainian opponent who seemed overawed in the early exchanges.

BREAK! - RADWANSKA 6-2 5-1 KOZLOVA. It's a break to love for Aga and the writing is on the wall for Kateryna. The number three seed and former finalist will serve for the match next.

RADWANSKA 6-2 4-1 KOZLOVA. Aga consolidates, hitting back from 15-30 down with the benefit of a second ace of the match to secure the hold.

BREAK! - RADWANSKA 6-2 3-1 KOZLOVA. Kateryna looks on dismay as she scoops a total miscue off the backhand side way out of court. It gifts Aga the break after the Ukrainians woes on serve caused her to misfire from 40-30 up. The third seed can see the finish line now.

RADWANSKA 6-2 1-1 KOZLOVA. Further proof that this is now a match and not a procession. Kozlova secures a solid hold to get on the board early in this set. Aga still in control but the Ukrainian is at least showing the Centre Court that she can produce flashes of good tennis.

RADWANSKA 6-2 1-0 KOZLOVA. Aga rallies to fightback from BP down to take the game from deuce. A big serve gets her out of jail before a wrong-footing forehand down the line seals the game.

SET! - RADWANSKA 6-2 KOZLOVA. A controlled, angled volley seals the set for Aga inside 33c minutes as she breaks from deuce. Kozlova made it more of a match in the latter stages but her torrid start ultimately proved costly. The second set could be closer if the Ukrainian continues to improve.

The 22-year-old underdog finally shows what she is capable of by teeing up double break point. For the first time, Radwanska shows she is fallible and double faults to allow the Ukrainian to get on the board.

BREAK! - RADWANSKA 4-0 KOZLOVA. Aga is cruising here. She's only had to show a flash or two of brilliance. Her opponent has looked edgy and the errors are costing her big. She fires an awkward attempt to the baseline long and drops serve to 15.
