GAME, SET AND MATCH! - KONTA 3-6 6-1 1-6 BOUCHARD. Genie comes through a magnificent match in one hour and 46 minutes. The British number one is out despite a battling display. The Canadian was too good in the end, hitting back form 15-30 down to serve it out in style.

KONTA 3-6 6-1 1-5 BOUCHARD. Jo Ko gets on the board, much to the relief of herself and the supporters in the crowd. She doesn't deserve a bagel to finish but it's hard to say Bouchard doesn't what looks like an impressive victory.

KONTA 3-6 6-1 0-5 BOUCHARD. Genie closing in on round three. Konta peppers her in a desperate bid to bite back but the Canadian follows up a stunning winner into the right corner with some quick feet to reach a dropshot and hit the crosscourt pass.

BREAK! - KONTA 3-6 6-1 0-4 BOUCHARD. That is surely it for Konta. Bouchard presses and presses until the Brit can't take it any longer. She saves one BP but Bouchard has the scent of victory and snatches the double break.

Elsewhere, Aga survives a huge scare.

KONTA 3-6 6-1 0-3 BOUCHARD. Genie consolidates but Konta could yet regret so many missed chances. She wasted opportunities on Bouchard's opening service game in this set and she is left lamenting a failure to take anything form triple break point in this one. Bouchard has a healthy lead on the scoreboard and Konta needs to find new depths to dig to.

BREAK! - KONTA 3-6 6-1 0-2 BOUCHARD. The pressure finally tells on Konta. The Brit serves two double faults to offer up triple BP. She saves one but Bouchard defends remarkably to stay in an enthralling final point before clinching it on the stretch at the net. Wonderful tennis.

KONTA 3-6 6-1 0-1 BOUCHARD. A big hold for Genie as the decider opens with an enthralling and nailbiting service game. Konta piles on the pressure and has break opportunities but the Canadian digs deep and ensures she has the scoreboard advantage.

SET! - KONTA 3-6 6-1 BOUCHARD. We are heading into a decider! Somehow Konta fights off Bouchard's aggressive pressure, hitting back from double break point down to seal the set from deuce. A remarkable scoreline in that second set as Genie could easily have won it. Now she has to re-focus as Konta is pumped up and ready for the fight!

BREAK! - KONTA 3-6 5-1 BOUCHARD. Wow! After coming under real pressure on her last service game, Konta channels the pent up aggression in the best way possible, demolishing Bouchard to love and claim another break. Genie can't believe she's facing a possible breadstick after dictating much of this set.

KONTA 3-6 4-1 BOUCHARD. An epic game and what incredible spirit from Konta! The Brit hits back from triple break point down and battles away from deuce before finally bulleting a stunning winner deep to the baseline to maintain her advantage after intense pressure from Bouchard.

KONTA 3-6 3-1 BOUCHARD. What a sublime game from Bouchard. The Canadian gets on the board and reminds Konta that she isn't going away. The 2014 finalist wins a stupendous 23-shot rally before sealing the love hold with a bullet winner into the left corner she is facing. Wonderful stuff.

KONTA 3-6 3-0 BOUCHARD. A wonderful backhand winner into the corner gives Konta the impetus to take the game from deuce and consolidate that break. Bouchard had pressed and had break back opportunities at 15-40 but the Brit wasn't about to cave this time around.

BREAK! - KONTA 3-6 2-0 BOUCHARD. Just what the doctor ordered. Konta is fighting hard and she gets her reward, cutting through a Bouchard serve she couldn't impose herself on in the latter stages of the first, to get her nose in front in the second.

KONTA 3-6 1-0 BOUCHARD. An important start to the second for Konta. She holds to 15, concluding the game with a deep serve Bouchard can't get back. The Brit's belief has been shaken but that'll do her a bit of good.

SET! - KONTA 3-6 BOUCHARD. We are seeing a bit of Bouchard circa 2014 here. The Canadian st0orms to a love hold to snare the opening set in 32 minutes. Konta up against it. Is another seed going to fall today?

KONTA 3-5 BOUCHARD. Konta stops the rot. The 16th seed looks a bit tight on some shots but manages to stay in with a shout with a rasping forehand that helps her to a hold to 30. Bouchard will now serve for the set.
