Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of the second round at Wimbledon 2019. It's GB's Jo Konta against the Czech, Katerina Siniakova.

GAME, SET AND MATCH! - KONTA 6-3 6-4 SINIAKOVA. British No.1, Jo Konta marches into round three with an impressive straight sets victory over a tricky Czech opponent in one hour and nine minutes. The No.19 seed secured the win on her second match point with a simple forehand pass into the empty court after she had dragged Siniakova way out to her right flank.

KONTA 6-3 5-4 SINIAKOVA. The Czech forces Konta to serve it out with a strong game to 15.

KONTA 6-3 5-3 SINIAKOVA. JoKo consolidates with a hold to 15 and is now just one game away from round three.

BREAK! - KONTA 6-3 4-3 SINIAKOVA. Third time lucky! Konta makes the breakthrough at the third opportunity from deuce as Siniakova fizzes long. The Brit turns to her box and clenches her fist. Can she see it out from her?

KONTA 6-3 3-3 SINIAKOVA. Still on serve. This has developed into a very tight affair after Konta bossed the opener.

KONTA 6-3 2-3 SINIAKOVA. The world No.38 keeps her nose in front as she hits back from 0-30 to deny the Brit a shot at the break.

KONTA 6-3 2-2 SINIAKOVA. The first questions are asked of the Konta serve at 15-30 but she answers them emphatically. A scorching backhand on the run is just too hot to handle for the Czech and it remains on serve early in Set 2.

KONTA 6-3 1-2 SINIAKOVA. Konta gets on the board as an ace concludes another accomplished hold to 15. Siniakova responds and reels off a love hold to stay on front.

KONTA 6-3 0-1 SINIAKOVA. Katerina shrugs off the loss of the opening set and produces arguably her best service game so far. She drops just the one point to kick off Set 2 in a positive fashion.

SET! - KONTA 6-3 SINIAKOVA. The Brit confidently powers to a love hold and takes the first set after 32 minutes.

KONTA 5-3 SINIAKOVA. The Czech poses the serve-out question and it's over to Jo to hold her nerve and try and see out what would be a deserved success in the opening set.

KONTA 5-2 SINIAKOVA. Konta conjures up a wide ace to conclude another emphatic service game to 15. She's looking very sharp and assured so far.

KONTA 4-2 SINIAKOVA. Katerina is showing no signs of any issues from that fall. She is moving well enough and shrugs off a double fault at 40-15 to get the job done on her next serve.

KONTA 4-1 SINIAKOVA. JoKo consolidates with a hold to 15. Siniakova will take her seat and has called for the trainer.

BREAK! - KONTA 3-1 SINIAKOVA. Konta earns triple break point again, but Siniakova falls heavily and there are concerns it may be a nasty one. She finally gets up with a grimace and saves one before finally succumbing to the Brit's early charge.

KONTA 2-1 SINIAKOVA. A backhand volley and a forehand winner are the business as JoKo breezes to a hold to 15. It's been impressive stuff from the Brit so far.

KONTA 1-1 SINIAKOVA. It's early doors but that's disappointing for Konta. A fortunate touch off the net helps a pass down the line do the damage as she surges to a 0-40 lead. Siniakova responds and after some tussles from deuce manages to dig out a plucky hold.

KONTA 1-0 SINIAKOVA. Konta edges some tasty exchanges right from the off and claims a hold to 30 for starters.

HEAD-TO-HEAD: This is their second meeting with Katerina taking the honours (1-6, 6-4, 6-4) in their first clash in the semi finals in Shezhen two years ago.
