GAME, SET AND MATCH! – JABEUR 4-6 4-6 VONDROUSOVA
The World number 42 Marketa Vondrousova serves it out to 15 on her second match point to shock Ons Jabeur and become the 2023 Wimbledon champion.
The 24-year-old Czech, who has previously reached the title match at the French Open and the Olympic Games, was the steadier player throughout as she secured the victory in one hour and 20 minutes.
Vondrousova becomes the first unseeded Wimbledon champion in the Open Era as Jabeur loses back-to-back finals in SW19 and is now 0-3 in Grand Slam finals.

BREAK! – JABEUR 4-6 4-5 VONDROUSOVA
Marketa cranks up the heat with a volleyed winner for 30-30 and Jabeur can’t take it. The Tunisian makes a hash of back-to-back forehands and chokes up the game.
Vondrousova will now serve for the title.

JABEUR 4-6 4-4 VONDROUSOVA
The World No.42 unloads that backhand once again as she couples that with some hefty serves to ease through a game to 15.
We are into blink and it’ll cost you big territory right now.

JABEUR 4-6 4-3 VONDROUSOVA
That’s clutch work from Ons as a big serve and a supreme wrong-footing forehand help her nudge her nose in front after Marketa had threatened at 15-30.
The Czech couldn't help but look rueful as she missed a make-able return trying to snare two break points and it did prove costly as Jabeur scuttled to safety.

JABEUR 4-6 3-3 VONDROUSOVA
Marketa resists Jabeur’s mini fight back from 30-0 down and blocks out the roar of the crowd in favour of her opponent to consolidate with a rifled backhand to pick off another Ons drop shot.

BREAK! – JABEUR 4-6 3-2 VONDROUSOVA
It’s been topsy-turvy but one thing that has been consistent is Marketa’s ability to bounce back. She did it twice in the first set and she’s at it again here.
The Czech unleashes a barrage of big backhands to snare break point after Ons had hit back from 0-30. The Tunisian drags her opponent around the baseline in the ensuing rally but it’s Marketa who steps it up with a massive backhand up the line that Jabeur can’t keep in play.

BREAK! – JABEUR 4-6 3-1 VONDROUSOVA
All of a sudden it’s Jabeur on the charge!
Vondrousova hangs in from 15-30 with a wonderful, low crosscourt backhand to pick off a cheeky drop shot, but the Czech buckles on break point when she rifles a big forehand just long of the baseline.

JABEUR 4-6 2-1 VONDROUSOVA
That dip from Marketa is even more costly as it appears to have ignited Ons.
The Tunisian slaps away a crosscourt forehand to cruise to a game to love and take charge on the board.

BREAK! – JABEUR 4-6 1-1 VONDROUSOVA
The unseeded Czech endures a serious wobble from 40-0 up, playing far too tentatively on the approach and being punished by some artistry on the pass from Jabeur.
Ons steps up the pressure from deuce and breaks back on her second opportunity with a clinical backhand drive volley.
Marketa's streak ends at five games but she will be ruining letting that commanding 40-0 lead slip.

BREAK! – JABEUR 4-6 0-1 VONDROUSOVA
Ouch! Jabeur pretty much hands that to Marketa as the unforced errors continue to spew off her racquet.
The Tunisian clearly has the crowd behind her but they can’t help her shake off the nerves and a tight backhand attempt up the line snaps into the net to give Marketa the early break.

SET! – JABEUR 4-6 VONDROUSOVA
From 4-2 down to securing a 40-minute opening set! Vondrousova serves it out to love with a flourish to leave Jabeur needing to come from behind once again if she’s to land that maiden Grand Slam title.

BREAK! – JABEUR 4-5 VONDROUSOVA
It’s far too patchy from Jabeur. The difference at this point is that Vondrousova has been more solid more often.
The Tunisian coughs up two more break points with a wild miss off a forehand volley and then gift wraps the game to the Czech with a timid backhand low into the net.
World No42 Vondrousova will now serve for the first set in the 2023 Wimbledon final.

JABEUR 4-4 VONDROUSOVA
We have a hold! Marketa consolidates with a solid game to 15 and it’s all square heading into the real business end of this set.

BREAK! – JABEUR 4-3 VONDROUSOVA
Good luck predicting what will happen next in this one!
Jabeur’s first serve percentage is way too low at 41 per cent and Marketa takes full advantage, following suit with a break to love that keeps us all guessing about the outcome of this opening set.
