JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 7-5: A cracking forehand sees Delpo into a 30-15 advantage after another gruelling rally. Gasquet then nets to set up two match points. Delpo takes the match at first time of asking as Gasquet nets.

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 6-5: Delpo takes a 0-30 lead but nets after another sensational rally to leave the game finely poised at 15-30. Gasquet goes long but Delpo misses a pretty presentable passing shot. The second break is called wide from Gasquet but he challenges and it was in – they have to replay that one. Delpo takes it after a long rally as Gasquet goes long.

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 5-3: A beaming cross-court backhand brings Delpo to parity at 15-15 in this crucial game. Gasquet goes wide on the Delpo second serve to see the Argentine take the advantage at 30-15. Gasquet gets it back to 30-30 but two aces are enough for the game.

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 4-3: A double fault gives Delpo a 15-30 advantage but, just as Delpo looks to have the Frenchman on the back foot, he produces a lovely pass to level the game at 30-30. They exchange points before Gasquet nets to give Delpo a break point. A wonderful serve brings the game to deuce. But a double gives Delpo another break opportunity but Gasquet keeps him at bay with another smash. Delpo comes out on top of a rally before Gasquets nets. BREAK!

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 3-3: Delpo nets and then goes long as Gasquet gets to 0-30 but the Argentine then gets Gasquet on the run before delivering a devilish forehand to cut the arrears. He then rattles off the next two points to give himself game point. Gasquet goes long to give Delpo the game.

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 2-3: Two thunderous smashes from Gasquet takes him to 30-0 before Delpo nets to make it 40-0. The Argentine nets again for Gasquet to hold to love.

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 2-2: Very poor from Delpo at 30-15: he looks for a lob – I think! It was that poor – but just tees up a volley that Gasquet dispatches. The Argentine recovers though to take the game.

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 6-3 0-1: At 15-15 Gasquet pulls out a beauty of an ace to take the advantage before a great backhand gives him two game points but Del Potro lets a blistering backhand down the line to reduce the arrears. Delpo’s next backhand pass is wild and the first game of the decider goes to the Frenchman.

Delpo comes out on top of a rally after a great spot of defence to go 0-30. Gasquet manages to cut the arrears but he then offers up two set points, the first of which he saves. Delpo then goes long from another one of those sliced serves and the game is at deuce. Delpo nets a backhand before a backhand from Gasquet takes the game.

JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO - RICHARD GASQUET 6-7 5-2: Delpo opens up a 30-0 advantage before he doubles to allow Gasquet back into the game. Another lovely drop shot from the big Argentine gives him game point, which he duly takes courtesy of another incredible drop shot.
