Canada remain the team to beat at the World Curling Championships after an emphatic 8-2 victory over hosts Switzerland, sending them through to the play-offs as the top seed after losing just a single match in the round robin stages.
They will face Denmark in the 1-2 play-off on Friday and will go into the fixture as favourites after defeating the Danes 11-8 earlier in the tournament.
But Denmark are also in stellar shape ahead of their tie against the Canadians after defeating current world champions Sweden 8-7 in their final round robin session.
The loss for Sweden means this will be the first time they do not feature in the play-offs in five years after winning just six games in Switzerland.
But despite Canada's blistering form to date, Denmark's skip Rasmus Stjerne insists his side do not fear the opposition.
"We played a good game against Canada, but they seem to have picked up their pace since then," he said.
"But I think we have to stick to our process right now and give ourselves a chance on every shot.
"Keeping the task at hand is the most important thing because they are going to come big at us and I think we'll just try and prepare our best."
Elsewhere, Japan beat Finland 7-5 to set a team record at the Championships of eight wins from 11, qualifying them for the play-offs for the first time in their history.
USA also secured their place in the top four for the first time in six years with a narrow 6-5 victory over Germany.
