On-loan Manchester United forward Adnan Januzaj starts for Sunderland against Everton, who welcome back Seamus Coleman from the side that beat Stoke City 1-0 a fortnight ago.
Sunderland manager David Moyes makes two changes from the 1-1 draw with Southampton with Duncan Watmore and Jan Kirchhoff taking over from Steven Pienaar and Fabio Borini for the match at the Stadium of Light.
Ireland full-back Coleman replaces Mason Holgate in Ronald Koeman's Everton side, who could go second in the Premier League with three points.
Moyes knows a win over his former club will see second-bottom Sunderland move out of the relegation spots.
