Liverpool suffered defeat to Wolves in the FA Cup fourth round following losses in the Premier League to Swansea and Southampton.
Their only win in the past eight games came in an FA Cup third-round replay at Plymouth.
Chelsea are eight points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League, and will move 13 clear of fourth-placed Liverpool if they win at Anfield.
"We need players, our players plus a few new faces. We need especially faith and belief, confidence to be as confident as possible," said Klopp in addressing the media.
"Everything is nice, an interesting sign of life that everything can change in one month. My job is to put out the emotion after a game.
"To stay calm and make the right decisions, that’s long term, what we will do this season? For us is to challenge ourselves to stay positive.
"Last week we lost three home games, that feels really less than average, three different competitions, it’s better than all in one competition.
"It’s all about the point of view, is everything rubbish? I cannot change. It’s important we build on the good things and that’s how life should be. You will struggle to be a bad person if you do this. We must go for the best position possible in the Premier League, or should we say we failed again and next season we try with different players, different manager?"
Klopp believes finishing in the top four would be a success for Liverpool this season.
Let’s go to the end of the season, we could qualify for the Champions League. Should we then stay there and say Yes, Is it allowed to celebrate a position like this when Chelsea are on an outstanding run?
"Yes, I think it should be allowed to celebrate this. We should fight for it. I think we should not try and stop now and finally judge players and talk about all the mistakes we made. We made that many mistakes that we are still fourth in the league. That’s it. There are worse things in the world."
Klopp is undecided what role forward Sadio Mane will play against Chelsea as he returns from the Africa Cup on Nations.
Mane's tournament in Gabon ended on Saturday when he failed to score his penalty in shootout after their quarter-final tie against Cameroon had ended goalless.
"He’s a quality player. It’s easier if we have him in the team" said Klopp.
"It’s not that he can decide games by himself. It’s a strange situation in the Senegal game against Cameroon.
"I wish he hadn’t missed the penalty but he did and now he’s coming back. He’s kind of an option for Chelsea. We have to see. At least for the Hull game, that’s good for us, we have a very good player back for selection, it’s only good news."
