Everton manager Ronald Koeman says that there is no interest in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart
The England international captained City during their 1-0 (6-0 on aggregate) victory over Steaua Bucharest in their Champions League play-off game but his future looks even less certain following the arrival of Claudio Bravo.
New City manager Pep Guardiola has stressed the importance of having a keeper who feels confident with the ball at his feet and on Thursday afternoon the club announced the signing of Bravo from Barcelona on a four year deal, hours after the Spanish club had signed Jasper Cillessen from Ajax.
With Bravo and Willy Caballero seemingly ahead of Hart in the pecking order there has been plenty of speculation about where he could go, with Everton mooted as one possible destination.
However speaking at his press conference ahead of the game against Stoke Koeman said the club were not interested in signing him.
“There is no interest,
"We have a game at Stoke on Saturday and that is more important than all the rumours. I need to prepare the team for Saturday."
Reports earlier on Thursday suggested that Sevilla were no longer interested in signing him on loan, leaving Hart with few options.
