A sensational season continues for German pilot Francesco Friedrich with his fifth 4-man victory of the season. Three months into the campaign, and with eight races and 16 runs behind the competitors, there was just 0.19 seconds between first and second place. Britain's European champion Brad Hall with a team ofArran Gulliver, Taylor Lawrence and Greg Cackett fought to the end in Innsbruck.

'She's gone over! Don't put your hand out!' - Canada suffer nasty bobsleigh crash

Francesco Friedrich completed another fabulous bobsleigh season by holding off Great Britain's Brad Hall to win a fifth Crystal Globe.
The four-man season came down to the wire between the two rivals at the final event in Innsbruck.
And it was Friedrich, the sport's dominant force who bagged a fifth straight World Championship gold last week, who claimed the title.
The German, along with teammates Thorsten Margis, Candy Bauer and Alexander Schueller, held a slender 0.07s advantage over Hall after their first runs and then converted his advantage into a fifth win of the season.
It was not without drama, as Friedrich made a mistake during his last run and looked to have lost control at turn nine. However, he regained his composure and beat Hall by 0.19s.
