World champions Johannes Lochner and Georg Fleischhauer claim two-man World Cup in St. Moritz

Germany enjoyed a successful day after managing a double one-two at the Olympia Bobrun. The German pair of two-man bobsleigh world champions Johannes Lochner and Georg Fleischhauer recorded a winning time of 2:10.74 as compatriots Alexander Schuller and two-man Olympic champion Francesco Friedrich finished 0.25 seconds behind to win silver in St Moritz.

Two-man bobsleigh world champions Johannes Lochner and Georg Fleischhauer claimed the fourth IBSF World Cup of the season in St. Moritz.
The German pair recorded a time of 2:10.74 as compatriots Alexander Schuller and two-man Olympic champion Francesco Friedrich finished 0.25 seconds behind to win silver.
Gold meant team Lochner extended their overall lead at the halfway stage of the World Cup on 885 points as team Freidrich sit second overall on 830 points.
Swiss heroes Michael Vogt and Sandro Michel picked up bronze in their home country, 0.55 seconds behind Lochner and Fleischhauer.
Earlier on Saturday, pilot Lisa Buckwitz soared to her third Monobob victory in a row after coming from third place following her first run with a season track record of 1:10.89 minutes in her second.
Monobob world champion and fellow German Laura Nolte dropped to second after finishing 0.13 seconds behind as Australia's Breeana Walker took third on the podium.
