Norway and Sweden booked their place in the semi-finals of the European Curling Championships, with victories over Scotland and Turkey in the final matches of the women's round robin.
Marianne Roervik's Norway team leapfrogged Scotland into the fourth and final qualifying berth with a 9-7 victory over their direct rivals.
Six of Norway's points came from just two ends before taking a single point from the final pair of ends to eliminate Scotland on home ice.
Sweden made sure they would be joining their Nordic neighbours with a clinical 10-3 victory over Turkey.
Isabella Wrana's side will take on Italy in the semi-final, with the Italians pipped into second after defeat to Switzerland who emerged from the round robin with nine wins from nine.
It also came down to the final match for Sweden's men to secure a top four spot, but Niklas Edin's team showed no nerves to beat Turkey 10-2 after racing into a 7-1 lead after three ends.
That victory set up a semi-final against Italy on Friday, after they ensured a flawless round robin courtesy of a 10-4 victory over Germany.
The other semi-final sees Scotland take on Switzerland, after the Swiss scraped through to the last four despite a 6-4 loss to fifth-placed Norway on Thursday.
Norway, Switzerland, and Sweden, all finished on six wins with the latter two nations progressing thanks to a lower draw shot challenge.
Switzerland will face Bruce Mouat's Scotland for a place in the final, after they sealed second with a final-end 8-7 victory over Finland.
