Norway recorded convincing wins over Germany and England to become the last side to qualify for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship knockout stages in South Korea.
They beat England 9-2 in the Thursday's first session before resisting a Germany fightback to win 6-4 in the final session of the day to hold off stiff competition from fourth-place Switzerland in Group B.
The Swiss pair did all they could to break into the qualification games, beating Germany 8-7 before a convincing 9-1 win over group winners Japan after just six ends, who will already have one eye on the semi-finals.
Chiaki Matsumura and Yasumasa Tanida came out on top in their other encounter, beating Spain 7-5 in their first game of the day.
England finished the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship without a win, losing 8-2 against Austria in their final game of the round robin stages.
The United States prepared for their knockout stage clash with Scotland by beating Turkey 8-7, though they did end their round robin stage with a extra-end 9-8 defeat against Spain.
Sweden made it two wins from their final two games, beating Austria 10-2 and Turkey 9-8.
In Group A, Scotland prepared for their World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships knockout stage match against the United States by beating the Czech Republic in the middle session.
Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat confirmed their spots in the top three of Group A yesterday and signed off from the group stages with a 6-5 win.
The result means they finished third in Group A, behind Estonia in second and Canada, who finished first.
The Canadian team also came out on top in their match against South Korea, beating the hosts 7-6.
However, Estonian duo Marie Kaldvee and Harri Lill finished their round robin stage with a shock 8-6 defeat against The Netherlands.
In the two other Group A games, Denmark scored three in the final end to beat Italy 11-9 and Australia beat bottom side Hungary 7-5 to finish in fourth and leave their opponents rooted to the bottom of the group.
