Scotland's struggles at the Women's World Curling Championships continued as they went down to Olympic bronze medallists Sweden.
Rebecca Morrison's rink have now suffered seven defeats in nine games in Sandviken.
They went toe-to-toe with Team Anna Hasselborg and were level at 5-5 through six ends, but the Swedes pulled clear with a score of two in the ninth, running out 9-6 winners.
Four games remain for Morrison, Gina Aitken, Sophie Sinclair and Sophie Jackson to salvage something from their second World Championships as a team.
The quartet were selected for last year's World Championships but a Covid outbreak in the camp meant they were unable to fulfil their fixtures in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile Switzerland made it nine wins from nine by thrashing Norway 6-1.
Swiss skip Silvana Tirinzoni, 43, is aiming for a fourth successive world title.
Turkey beat Germany 8-3 and Japan downed South Korea 7-4 with all four sides still in the hunt for the playoffs.
