DYGERT WINS!
As Markus crosses the line in ninth, Dygert takes the gold medal and the rainbow jersey! Brown takes silver, Schweinberger bronze.
Still not feeling like her normal self after a rough few days with illness, the newly crowned World Champion admits after the race: "If the race was yesterday I don't think I would have started."

BROWN INTO SECOND
She pushes herself to the limit and moves within five seconds of Dygert with a stunning effort. She's so close to the hot seat with 47:05.47 which moves Henderson out of the top three.

LABOUS FOURTH, HOLDEN OUT OF TOP TEN
Juliette Labous sets the fourth best time so far with 48:22.27. She moves Vollering down to fifth, and Holden out of the top ten. Kerbaol now tenth.

Australia's Brown looks like a key podium contender after moving to second on both intermediate splits so far.

The Austrian moves into 11th with 49:53.64.

HOLDEN INTO TENTH
The British rider just manages to hold onto a place in the top ten for now with 49:45.01 to move Norsgaard to 11th.

VOLLERING INTO FOURTH
No rainbow jersey for Vollering today but she puts in a big sprint out of the saddle towards the end and lunges to the line to set a time of 48:27.59. Top three still Dygert, Schweinberger, and Henderson.

REUSSER ABANDONS RACE
Not sure what's happened here but key contender Reusser has abandoned the race and is sat at the side of the road. It's not to be for the Swiss rider today, she understandably looks devastated. The fall she suffered in the mixed relay could have had an impact today. Updates to follow when we know more, hoping she's okay.

NIEDERMAIER LEADS U23
German rider Antonia Niedermaier takes the lead in the u23 category and fifth overall with 49:27.26. Kerbaol seventh.

SCHWEINBERGER NOW SECOND!
Christina Schweinberger immediately displaces Henderson from the silver medal spot! It's an extremely impressive time from the Austrian as she crosses the line in 48:12.75. Dygert remains in first.

It's an incredible effort from Henderson who moves into the silver medal postion with a time of 48:14.85 after crossing every intermediate time split in second!

SKALNIAK-SÓJKA INTO SECOND AT THE FINISH
Polish national time trial champion and Dygert's Canyon//SRAM teammate Agnieszka Skalniak-Sójka moves into the silver medal spot, dropping Bujak to third.

She's +1:20.24 behind Dygert's time at the same point.

The Dane displaces Campbell from the bronze medal positon with a time of 49:56.73. Dygert remains first, Bujak second.

The best young rider from the Tour de France Cédrine Kerbaol sets a time +1:44.67 behind Dygert's time at the second intermediate time split. She'll be challenging for the u23 jersey today.
