Good afternoon and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE commentary of the African Cup of Nations third-place play-off between hosts Equatorial Guinea and DR Congo. There had been question marks if today's encounter would go ahead following fan unrest during the semi-final clash between Ghana and the hosts but the match was given the green light yesterday and will, in fact, be played in front of fans in Malabo.

The referee signals for half-time and a rather uneventful opening 45 minutes draws to a close.

Bolasie's corner is headed away at the near post. DR Congo are currently playing with 10 men following Kage's injury. He could well be subbed at half-time.

DR Congo's Kage wins his side another corner but has hurt himself in the process and that could be the end of his game.
42'
I have to say, the corner deliveries have been so poor so far as DR Congo waste yet another set piece.
41'
DR Congo have taken control of the match and are now controlling possession.

WIDE! Bolasie latches onto a wonderful pass from the full-back, shows his marker a clean pair of heels and finds himself behind the defence, but somehow fires the ball wide of the target! Best chance of the game so far.
37'
Both goalkeepers have been guilty of flapping at the ball but they've got away with it so far.
35'
Kakasula's cross is aimed towards the back post, Ovono comes for the ball and completely misses it! The ball, fortunately for Equatorial Guinea, rolls out of play, with the goal gaping.
34'
DR Congo's Mabwati is caught by Bohale and the visitors have a free-kick and a chance to whip the ball into the danger area from 40 yards.
33'
Equatorial Guinea have looked rather toothless in the last 10 minutes or so. Disappointing, especially considering their bright start to the game.
32'
Bolasie picks out Kage on the edge of the Equatorial Guinea penalty area but instead of crossing the attacker opts to shoot and the effort is blocked by Evuy.
30'
Security aren't taking any chances with our man in Africa...
28'
The corner delivery is poor and DR Congo easily clear. Half an hour has almost gone with no real chances to discuss as of yet.
26'
A quick breakaway from Equatorial Guinea - after a wonderful 30 yard pass from Juvenal finds the full back Evuy - results in a corner.
24'
After nearly 25 minutes, DR Congo, inspired by Crystal Palace's Bolasie, are beginning to come into this match and have had the better of the ball in recent moments.
23'
Equatorial Guinea's Kike is down holding his face after a coming together with Kage. He looks OK though.
21'
A deep delivery from Bolasie is aimed towards Mbemba who is adjudged to have fouled Ovono.
20'
HALF CHANCE! Bolasie picks out Bokila with a delightful through ball and the latter tries to square the ball across goal instead of going for a shot but his attempted pass is blocked and it goes out for a corner.
