Hello and welcome to Eurosport’s coverage of the African Cup of Nations Group C clash between Senegal and Algeria. This is Nick Royle (@nickaroyle) taking you through all the action from Malabo.

It ends Senegal 0-2 Algeria, and the Desert Warriors go through to the last eight as runners-up to Ghana in Group C.

Taider goes towards goal but his optimistic effort from 30 yards goes well wide of Coundoul's goal.

Senegal win a corner, which they take quickly, but Medjani again heads clear. We are in the second of four minutes of additional time.

Gueye sees an effort from 40 yards drift well wide for Senegal. Ahmed Kashi comes on for his Algeria debut, replacing Mahrez.

Medjani hammers away N'Doye's cross from the right. Algeria are looking to make a final substitution in injury-time.

N'Doye rolls Medjani but the Lokomotiv Moscow striker's effort from the right channel whistles wide.

Mahrez breaks and Algeria have a three on two but the Algeria winger is greedy and the chance is gone.

Souare wins a free-kick for Senegal down the right. M'Bolhi punches clear N'Doye's chip into the area.

Bougherra is off the pitch getting treatment, and comes back on the pitch with a big tissue up his nostril.

Algeria are now slowing the game down drastically. Bougherra is down after clashing heads with Kouyate.

And Ghana have scored, and lead South Africa 2-1. As it stands, Algeria and Ghana are going through and Avram Grant's side will top the group!

There are some very miserable faces on the Senegal bench now, as Bentaleb nets his second goal for his country.

GOAL: Senegal 0-2 Algeria. Feghouli sets up Bentaleb on the edge of the Senegal area, and the Tottenham midfielder lashes the ball left-footed past Coundoul and into the far corner of the Senegal goal.

Feghouli is caught very late by Souare in the centre of the pitch. The Senegal substitute rightly sees yellow.

Belfodil finally comes on to replace Soudani for Algeria.

Souare gets the ball from Cisse down the left but Feghouli is across to make the tackle. Some good energy being shown by the Algeria midfield.

M'Bolhi gets a yellow card for timewasting as he tarries on the goalkick following Gueye's effort wide of his goal.

Bougherra does really well to close out Cisse after the Newcastle striker had seemed to outpace Medjani.

SAVE: Coundoul saves from Soudani following Mahrez's cross from the right, after Kara had blocked the initial Taider effort.

Ghana have equalised against South Africa - that could be bad news for Senegal. If Ghana get another, Senegal are out.
