Soudani arrows into the box from Ghoulam's ball down the left, but his run is checked by a good tackle by Kara Mbodj.

Medjani fouls Mane on the centre circle. The Southampton player seems to have a free role for Senegal tonight.

Bougherra concedes a throw, taken by Badji down the right, but Senegal concede the free-kick and Algeria have the ball back.

Algeria coach Gourcuff is confident that Algeria will make the last eight, after a group-stage exit in the 2103 African Cup of Nations."There is a lot of unity and solidarity and this is priceless. The Lions of Teranga are looking to qualify for the tournament knock-out stage for the first time since 2006, when they reached the semi-finals in Egypt.

For South Africa to go through, they must win and hope Senegal beat Algeria, although Ephraim Mashaba's side would also go through in the case of an Algeria win provided they can overturn their goal difference deficit to Senegal.

Algeria lie second in Group B, having beaten South Africa 3-1 in their opening match in Mongomo on 19 February. The Desert Warriors, Africa's top-ranked team, will also progress with a draw if South Africa beat Ghana in the other match in Mongomo.

Group leaders Senegal, with four points from their two matches so far, need only to draw to book their place in the last eight. However, Alain Giresse's side could still be eliminated should they lose to Algeria and Ghana beat South Africa in the other group match.

Senegal coach Alain Giresse makes three changes from the starting eleven that drew 1-1 with South Africa in Mongomo on Friday. Papy Djilobodji comes in for Lamine Gassama at the back, while Cheikhou Kouyate and Stephane Badji replace Alfred N'Diaye and Moussa Sow in midfield.

Algeria coach Christian Gourcuff makes two changes from the starting eleven that went down 1-0 to Ghana in Mongomo on Friday. Riyad Mahrez comes in for Medhi Lacen in midfield, while El Arbi Soudani replaces Ishak Belfodil up front.
