Hamburg's tactic of lumping the ball up to Schipplock is simply not working. They are going to have to change something if they actually want anything more out of this game.

OK just seen the replay and Spahic has got away with one there as he has stamped on Lewandowski's ankle just as the ball was being played right to Robben on the edge of the area. Lucky to still be on the pitch.

And we're back to normal here. Bayern in possession and moving the ball well. Costa coming inside tries to play it to Robben but Ilicevic is there to intercept and clear.

And that is half time! Bayern with the one goal in the game scored by Benatia. Hamburg much better than they were last season in this fixture but their hosts dominating. Will the pattern of the game change in the second half? Stay with us to find out.

Bayern seeing this final minute of the half out in Hamburg's half. Alaba sees a bobbling ball come out to him on the edge of the area. He shoots first time but slices it wide. That'll probably be it for this half.

There's the problem for Hamburg. Holtby wants to play out from the back. None of the other players do. They go long to Schipplock but he is outnumbered and outmuscled by Boateng and so Bayern easily get the ball back.

Trouble here as Djourou goes in heavy on Lewandowski. He has gone through the back of the Pole and the Bayern players aren't happy. The ref handles it well though and allows the players to air their frustration before just simply giving the free kick.

Poor ball from Costa as he tries to spread the play wide to Lahm on the other side but it goes well out of play.

Jung tries to put pressure on Lahm in the right back position but he leans too much on the former Germany captain and the referee blows his whistle.

Hamburg now trying to press higher but Bayern are happy still to play the ball out from the back.

All very easy for Bayern. This time Ilicevic tries a run down the wing but Boateng easily watches the ball back to Neuer as the Hamburg winger's touch is way too heavy.

Yellow for Spahic as he chops right through the back of Lewandowski. He thinks he got the ball. I can tell Spahic and everybody reading this, he certainly did not. Good chunk of the Polish striker's ankle though.
