Hello and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the first leg of the Champions League last-16 showdown between Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea at the Parc des Princes. The French side are enjoying an all-conquering season on the domestic front and are runaway leaders in Ligue 1 by a mere 24 points. It means they come into this as heavy favourites on paper, particularly given Chelsea's troubles this season. But don't rule out the Blues, who know this competition represents a tangible opportunity to rescue their campaign and will be hoping to continue their improving form under Guus Hiddink with a marker of their intent. Kick off 7.45pm GMT.

GUUS GOING FOR GLORY: Guus Hiddink could win the CC/CL a whopping 28 years after previously doing so. No manager has won this competition more than 15 years after his previous triumph. Fifteen years separated Jupp Heynckes's win with Real Madrid in 1997/98 and his follow-up success with Bayern in 2012/13 (via Infostrada).
