Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of the Champions League last 16, second leg clash between Arsenal and Bayern Munich at Emirates Stadium. The Gunners face mission impossible as they look to overcome the fall-out of the Alexis Sanchez bust-up and a mammoth 5-1 first leg deficit to somehow reach the last eight for the first time since 2010. Can they make it interesting or will the Bavarians ease through, as expected? History is against Arsene Wenger’s men – no side has made it through a CL tie after losing the first leg by four or more. Kick off 7.45pm

Arsenal seem to be synonymous with negative headlines at the moment - and a former rival has stuck the boot in. So much for the mild-mannered Frank Lampard!

Bayern make two changes from the first leg with Franck Ribery and Rafinha coming in for Philippe Lahm (suspended) and Douglas Costa, who is amongst the substitutes. As fro Arsenal, Mesut Ozil is a surprise inclusion on their bench. The German was expected to miss out tonight with the illness that saw him miss the defeat at Liverpool.

Just under three weeks ago, Bayern put one foot and four and a half toes in the last eight with a 5-star mauling of the Gunners at the Allianz Arena. The visitors looked well in the tie at one apiece at the interval, but fell apart in the second period and are realistically only playing for pride tonight. Thiago Alcántara was the architect of their demise as he scored twice and was pivotal to all of the German side's best moves. Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski and substitute Thomas Müller were also on target.
