What a performance this has been from Monaco! In the first half, they trampled all over City, sat in well enough in the second - Subasic made just enough saves, and Aguero's finishing was just off enough. Then, when City finally scored, they had the steel to compose and find themselves a winner. Brilliant stuff, and they will be a hard night for whichever team draws them in the last eight.

De Bruyne hurtles past Bakayoko at inside-right, so Lemar whizzes in, thinks he's got the ball, nails the man and is booked. De Bruyne goes to swing the free-kick out ... and picks out Subasic! Tht might just be it!

The ball bounces into the box, and Aguero, but Jemerson towers over him to head clear.

There shall be three added minutes; that seems parsimonious, given two goals and three subs.

Germain,who has run his genitals off, is replaced by Dirar.

City have done nothing since conceding. Germain was booked for something - I saw not what.

So what do City have? I'm surprised we've not seen Iheanacho - assuming the ball's going to be in the Monaco box, he has the knack. But for now, Guardiola is sticking with shape over numbers.

GOAL! Monaco 3-1 Manchester City (Bakayoko) agg 6-6 Monaco win a free-kick on the right after a clumsy challenge from De Bruyne, a fair bit in from the touchline and about 40 yards out. And Lemar's delivery is brilliant, over Kolarov, who leaves his man to attack the ball, so when Caballero doesn't come, Bakayoko contors his neck to power a superb header back across Cabalgoal and into the net! What a game! What a tie! Monaco lead on away goals once more!

Sterling, who's played well in the second half, chucks a leg at the ball and wins it from Silva, but then cleans him out and is booked. He'll miss the first leg of the quarter if City get there.

Again, Fabinho and Bakayoko have shrunk at the crucial moments.
