There was a lot of talk about the first leg of this tie as one of the greatest ever played. I'm not having that - the defending was too poor, and in a way there was too little at stake, it being only a first leg, only last-16, and between two sides unlikely to go all the way. And that's even before we've started on the defending, and Monaco's late capitulation.

That said, it was still bloody brilliant, so eyes down for more of the same.
