End of 2nd Half
90+2'
FT: Borussia Moenchengladbach 1-1 Man City. Silva's equaliser at the end of the first half is enough to send City into the last 16 after Celtic were beaten by Group C winners, Barcelona. Raffael had given the home team the lead but they never looked the same in the second half after Stindl was sent off. Fernandinho was also red carded to make it 10 v 10, but Guardiola's men looked more assured in the second period and got the job done.

City stroking it around. They still look the more likely but seem happy enough with the point.

It will be the fourth straight season they've made the last 16 if they don't concede here - and Barcelona beat Celtic as expected.
87'
Silva races through... He's flagged offside. The Spaniard sticks it away anyhow. Nice finish but it doesn't count. City just a few moments away from the last 16.
86'
Otamendi meets Silva's left-wing corner but can't direct it on target.

Was Raffael hooked before he got a second yellow? Quite possibly!

GLADBACH CHANGE: Raffael off, Andre Hahn on.

Gladbach look to have run out of steam. City doing all of the pressing now.

Could there be a bit of drama left in this one?
74'
A good spell of City pressure ends with Gundogan cannoning a long-range drive straight into the midriff of Sommer.
73'
Raffael handles De Bruyne's free kick and isn't far enough away. City want a second yellow. The card-happy referee shakes his head. Bafflingly inconsistent.
72'
Raffael late on Gundogan. Yellow card.

The home support have found their voices again. Deafening stuff. Will their team respond?
