Quite remarkable that Barcelona didn't score with either of those two opportunities. Vidal denied on the line TWICE in a matter of seconds. PSV were hanging on a bit there!

Off the line again! From the very next corner kick, Vidal has another cleared off the line! Angelino was back on the post and clears to stop the Chilean from finding the net with a header.

Cleared off the line! What an effort that was from Vidal! He hooked a shot towards the target with his back to goal, but Rosario was back on the line to clear with his head! Close!

Big chance for Coutinho! The Brazilian player cuts inside, skipping past two defenders before taking the shot from 16 yards out, but it takes a deflection and bounces wide of the target.

Van Bommel doesn't look too happy on the touchline, but he must be satisfied with the way his team have played in this first half so far. All they need now is a goal.

Once again, the PSV players and fans aren't happy. They believe that Pique should have been shown a yellow card, but once again, a Barcelona player avoids a booking.

What is unusual about this Barcelona performance in the opening 30 minutes is that PSV Eindhoven are managing to find space in between the midfield and the defence.

Dembele has probably been the best Barcelona player on the pitch so far. The French winger gives the Spanish champions something different down the right side. Speedy.

Should be 1-0! Pereiro should have given PSV the lead! De Jong's knockdown was collected by the PSV midfielder, but he could only scoop his finish over the bar under pressure about six yards out.

Good chance! Lozano will feel that he might have done better with that. Angelino did well to get the low cross into the box, but the Mexican international skewed his shot well wide.

Hendrix and Rosaro are doing a good job of putting up a defensive block in the midfield whenever Barcelona have the ball. They are protecting the back four. They need that.

Alba believes that he should have been awarded a corner kick and the replays show that the Barcelona left back was correct. There's been some strange calls in this game so far.

Barcelona are missing Suarez at the moment. Messi is being asked to play as a 'false nine' but it's not a role that he looks overly comfortable with at this stage of his career.
