What is going on in the Barcelona midfield at the moment? They have been so loose with possession, giving PSV a couple of scoring chances. That just isn't like them. At all.

Off the post! Barcelona give up the ball inside their own half, not for the first time tonight, and Pereiro gets the shot away. It beats Ter Stegen, but comes back off the inside of the post!

Semedo is showing a bit more ambition down the right side this evening. That has been the biggest criticism of the Portuguese full back since signing from Benfica - he doesn't overlap enough.

It must be said that Barcelona are being quite shrewd with their tackling. A lot of niggly challenges, stopping PSV in their stride. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

Indeed, Dembele came off the bench to salvage a point for Barcelona away to Atletico Madrid at the weekend. There are doubts over his commitment, but there are no doubts over his ability.

Dembele has been given a chance from the start. The French winger has struggled for starts this season, but he has scored a number of important goals for the Catalans.

The home side have started well here, but you just get the feeling that Barcelona have weathered the early storm and are now starting to take a grip of the match. In control.

That's another bad tackle from a Barcelona player, with Vidal going in high on Viergever, but the referee once again keeps his cards in his pocket. The Chilean gets away with one.

The other game in this group this evening is between Spurs and Inter Milan. The result in that game could have a real bearing on PSV Eindhoven's Champions League chances.

De Jong on target! PSV Eindhoven give Barcelona something to think about from the freekick, but Ter Stegen was behind it and could make the comfortable save from the striker.

Ter Stegen keeps it out! The Barcelona goalkeeper needed to make the save there. The freekick from Pereiro was a dangerous one, but Ter Stegen dives to his right to make the diving stop.

Should be a yellow! That was an extremely cynical foul from Busquets, who brought down Lozano as he burst through on the Barca defence. That really should have been a booking!

It's been a high intensity start from the home side. Even in these opening few minutes, you can see the way that PSV Eindhoven are trying to force Barcelona into mistakes.

So just to recap, Barcelona are already through to the last 16, while PSV Eindhoven are at the foot of Group B with just one point from their first four fixtures in the competition.
