Salzburg are all over the place at the back now, and a long ball over the top for Salah is avoided by Salah who's offside. So Mane collects and drills a shot that's deflected over the top.

Szoboszlai lifts over the top for Hwang, nashing down the left, only for him to hoist a pointless cross that's nowhere near anyone.

Origi replaces Keita.

There are various ways to read this game. You might say Liverpool were too strong, and Salzburg gave them too many chances. But you might also say that Salzburg have finished and goalkept badly, and had they not, they might not've lost.

But here comes Hwang down the right, looking to cross, but the ball loops up off Robertson and Alisson collects.

Salzburg are disheartened. Liverpool pass around them, then win it back when they lose it.

Liverpool win a corner down the right which Alexander-Arnold sweeps towards the near post. Salzburg get it away, so Alexander-Arnold crosses again, but Mane can't manufacture an angle which lets him head on target.

Haaland holds up well but looks like he doesn't trust his pace so moves it wide to Daka. He sends the ball over to Minamino on the other side, who tries to trick Robertons to open a shooting lane; Roberton buys the feint, but lands in time to block behind. The corner comes to nothing.

Mwepu lifts a ball over the top, finding Haaland out on the left. His cross is to no one, drifting well beyond the back post.
