GOALLLLL! CITY STRIKE
Guess who? Haaland has done it again. He has now scored on his Champions League debut for three different teams.
He latches onto a cut-back from De Bruyne inside the area by tapping in at the back post inside the six-yard box.

WILD EFFORT!
Another wild effort! De Bruyne is played in by Grealish from the left flank, but his shot is once again very high and wide!

GOOD CHALLENGE
Foden takes a great first touch and gets into the box down the right-hand side. However, he is stopped in his tracks by Acuna.

POOR FROM KDB
Haaland feeds the ball to Foden down the right channel, who in turn releases it to De Bruyne. On the edge of the box, the City captain fires a rare shot high and wide of the goal.

SIDE NETTING!
Grealish does what he does best from the wide left position, and cuts inside onto his favoured right foot. However, his low shot towards the near post goes into the side netting.

CITY WORKING THE SPACES
Cancelo again ventures forward down the right channel following a great dribble inside from the left by Dias who advances from centre back. Cancelo then opts to shoot at goal towards the near post, but his shot is blocked.

NOT QUITE FOR CITY
Foden chips a ball for Cancelo to chase on the overlap. The defender runs forward and chases the ball, before attempting to lift the ball over Nianzou, but he can't quite do it and the ball trickles out for a goal-kick to the home side.

WIDE!
Haaland has his first shot of the game! De Bruyne has space and picks out the striker well with a cross into the box, but the Norwegian heads the ball wide of the far post.

SEVILLA HAVE STARTED WELL
Both sides have had a lion's share of possession as we edge towards the ten minute mark.

CLEARED
Navas does well to make a run down the right flank before twisting and turning and putting in a cross, but Cancelo clears for City.

TOO DEEP!
Bernardo Silva runs at the defence from the left-side channel, but he overhits his cross towards the back post for Foden and it goes out for a throw.

AS FOR MAN CITY
After dropping points in the Premier League last weekend against Aston Villa, Manchester City will be hoping to bounce back with a win tonight, against a side which they have a good record against in the Champions League.
Over two matches in the 2015-16 group stage, City ran out 5-2 winners on aggregate. As for Erling Haaland, who already has ten league goals for City in just six matches, the forward has previous against Sevilla too, netting four times against Los Palanganas in the 2020-21 season.

SEVILLA WAIT FOR FIRST WIN
It has been a disappointing start to the new campaign for Sevilla, as Julen Lopategui's side have taken just one point from their opening four La Liga games.
The loss of their solid defensive duo of Jules Kounde and Diego Carlos over the summer has hampered them at the back, but the signing of Tanguy Nianzou from Bayern Munich is a promising addition to their side.
The good news for Sevilla is that they are unbeaten in six Champions League opening day group stage fixtures.
