Tottenham Hotspur v AC Milan LIVE: Spurs pushing for a goal to stay in Europe

Emerson is back on the pitch and Milan have possession of the ball.

Both sides are really trying to find some flow in this match. Lots of incomplete passes, fouls and breaks in play. Milan look most dangerous on the counter but haven't had many opportunities to do so.

AC Milan work a brilliant free kick from the training ground, Tonali finds Messias Jr in the box but the Brazilian can only drag his shot wide. He will be disappointed to not have made the goalkeeper work from that angle.

Romero cleans out Leao and that will surely be a yellow card.

As Leao prepares to run in behind for a counter he is cynically taken out by Clement Lenglet and Milan have a free kick. No yellow card from the referee as of yet.

Kulusevski picks the ball up on the right before firing a vicious cross over, aiming for Perisic at the back post but he puts too much on it and it's out for a goal kick.

Kane finds Kulusevski on the right who cuts it back to Emerson Royal who sees his shot blocked. Tottenham got in on the break easily there and they will take encouragement from that.

Rafael Leao receives the ball on the right and weaves past Oliver Skipp before being fouled. The referee has let Skipp know in no uncertain terms that one more of those and he's going in the book.

Tottenham are enjoying a good spell of possession now, playing in Milan's half and trying to work an opening.

Tottenham work the counter attack well and Perisic is taken out after he plays a pass. Good spot from the referee to come back and award the free kick.

Rade Krunic tries to bring the ball forward into the final third but Spurs deal with it well and now have possession.

Theo whips in the free kick which is headed out by a Spurs defender but Milan come again. It's been all the Italian side in the opening four minutes.
