AC Milan's form in 2023 has been inconsistent to say the least. Pioli's side lost four games in a row across all competitions between the end of January and the start of February. They then went on a run of winning four matches in a row - including the 1-0 win against Spurs. However, that run ended on Saturday when they lost 2-1 to Fiorentina.

Heung-Min Son said pre-match that tonight's clash with Milan is, "the most important game of the season". The South Korean international went on to say that the Spurs players are going to "give it everything to make the fans and the club proud".

The last time Tottenham overturned a first leg deficit in the UEFA Champions League was against Ajax in the 2018/19 season.

Erik ten Hag's Ajax won in London, taking a 1-0 lead into the second leg on home soil. Things went from bad to worse for Spurs when Ajax raced into a 2-0 lead on the night, giving them a 3-0 lead on aggregate. Then something incredible happened, Lucas Moura scored a second-half hat-trick, with his third goal coming in the 96th minute, sending Spurs through to the UCL final courtesy of away goals - a rule that is no longer in place.

This goal from Brahim Diaz has Milan 1-0 up on aggregate.

AC Milan do not have a good record on English soil. The Italian giants come into this clash having one just one of their previous 21 away visits to England across all European competitions. Their only victory came against Manchester United back in 2005.

Spurs will be counting on Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son to produce the goods tonight and send Spurs into the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League.

AC Milan come into this clash with a slender advantage after winning 1-0 in Milan. Brahim Diaz scored the only goal of the game after seven minutes. The Serie A side had a couple of big opportunities to win by a bigger margin but ultimately failed to convert. Stefano Pioli will hope that his side won't rue their missed chances from the first leg tonight in London.
