Highlights: Aris score five to reach next round of CL qualifiers

Aris Limassol defeated BATE Borisov 5-3 in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier on Tuesday evening.
The Cypriots held a 6-2 advantage from the first leg when they had played at home, and the reverse fixture was played in Hungary as Belarusian teams must play at neutral venues as a result of their country’s involvement in the invasion of Ukraine.
The nominal home team’s three goals came from Valerie Gromyko and Denis Laptev, who both scored from the spot, and Aleksandr Martynov.
Limassol scored three in the first half, through Shavy Babicka, Yannick Gomis and Caju, before Leo Bengtsson and Mariusz Stepinksi added two more in the second period.
Ukrainians side Dnipro-1 avoided defeat in the second leg of their tie against Panathinaikos of Greece, but the 2-2 draw was not enough to overcome a 3-1 deficit from the first leg.
Andraz Sporar scored twice for Panathinaikos, while Artem Dovbyk and Eduard Sarapiy scored for the away side before Volodymyr Tanchyk’s red card for Dnipro on 75 minutes.
Olimpija beat Ludogorets 2-1 with a late winner from Timi Max Elsnik sending them through. Elsnik scored after 18 minutes, three minutes after Kiril Despodov opened the scoring.
However Francisco Gomez saw red on 82 minutes, reducing the Hungarian side to 10 men, and Elsnik scored 10 minutes later to earn a 3-2 aggregate victory.
