BARCA MOVING THE BALL QUICKER
Looks a lot slicker from Xavi's team so far as Jens Cajuste is late on Andreas Christensen. Barca continue to push and probe at pace.

FIRST BOOKING OF THE EVENING
Frenkie de Jong earns a booking for a late challenge on Giovanni Di Lorenzo. Can have few complaints about that call.

BARCA EARN A FREE-KICK
Amir Rrahmani is guilty of taking out Pedri with a late challenge. A free-kick is hoisted into the home box, but Amir Rrahmani is equal to the task in heading clear the delivery.

FAIR PLAY TO THE HOME FANS
Making plenty of noise this evening despite watching a pretty dismal start to this match by their side. At least they haven't shipped a goal. Have to be thankful for small mercies.

NAPOLI HANGING OVER HERE
Lamine Yamal surges down the pitch and into the home area with Napoli nowhere to be seen. Uncorks a fine shot at goal, but Alex Meret is alert to block with Gundogan just failing to follow up the rebound.

NAPOLI YET TO GET NEW COACH BOUNCE
Barca are the dominant force so far with Napoli looking fragile in trying to work the ball out from the back. Lamal again taking up a nice posting at back post, but Juan Jesus provides the clearing header. All Barca at moment.

MCMANAMAN DEFENDS BARCA COACH XAVI
The Real Madrid UEFA Champions League winner has been analysing Xavi's situation at Barca with the former Spain midfielder set to quit at the end of the season.
"Let's hope we get a good really game," said McManaman on TNT Sports. "Financially, they are a mess. I think he [Xavi] has been treated awfully to be honest. He hasn't had the support of [Barcelona president] Juan Laporte.
"Given players he doesn't want all on free contracts, and try to make the best of it. Still, they won the league last year and the Super Cup. I feel he has been very, very harshly treated Xavi."

DRAW NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR BARCA COACH XAVI
Some would happily take an away draw in the cauldron of the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples, but not UEFA Champions League icon Xavi, who is expecting his side to chase victory this evening.
“We will go out to win, as always," Xavi told reporters. "We go out to win, we are Barca, a draw is not a good result. We will go out like this, then depending on the circumstances, we will see if it is a good result or not.
“But we have to take into account that we have a home game and that they will have to visit Montjuïc. The tie is going to be even. I think that playing away first is not a disadvantage. There is no clear favourite, you have to earn it on the field.”
