HALF TIME: Barcelona 1-0 Villarreal. The away side have equipped themselves well, but it is Barcelona who hold the lead at the break. Suarez has been the difference between the two.

That was a chance for Barcelona to double their lead! Suareaz ghosts in behind the Villarreal backline, with the ball eventually breaking to Messi. But he can only find the side netting!

Inches away from Suarez finding the net! The former Liverpool striker throws himself at a cross at the back post, but the ball fizzes away from him and he can't make the connection.

He should have hit the target from there! Some nice interchange play between Barcelona's attacking players releases Suarez through, but he drags his shot wide of the target from a tight angle.

The Camp Nou sings Suarez's name, who won the ball with some high pressure on the Villarreal defence. His decision to pass to Messi for the finish was also the correct one. Unselfish.

The cross into the box was decent from Jonathan, but Ter Stegen comes off his line to punch well clear of danger. That was good play from the German goalkeeper. That was his first touch of the match.
