Marcelino has opted for something of a flat 4-4-2, with Vietto and Giovani the two strikers up front. They have plenty of pace and threat on the counter attack. Barcelona will need to watch for that.

Villarreal have been something of a surprise package this season. They have taken the lead in their last 21 matches, which is quite something. They have the quality to hit you on the break.

Early signs are that Mascherano will play at defensive midfield for Barcelona tonight. That might be to try and stifle the creativity that Villarreal have in that area of the pitch.

In fact, of all the teams Barcelona have played since that loss to Sociedad, Villarreal have tested them the most. They led here at the Camp Nou just 10 days ago, eventually losing 3-2.

Barcelona have been in fantastic form since that defining defeat to Real Sociedad earlier in the year, so can they continue that streak tonight? This will be a tough test for Enrique's men.
