Cillessen hasn't had a shot to face in these opening 15 minutes or so. Of course, the Dutch goalkeeper has been playing in the Copa del Rey for Barcelona this season.

Barcelona have enjoyed a fantastic start to this match. They are in control, with Atletico Madrid rocking. Their gameplan has been torn up with that opening goal for the visitors.

Both sides have posed a threat from set pieces. That is, of course, the mark of Atletico Madrid as a team under Simeone. But they themselves look rather vulnerable at the back.

NEYMAR DOWN! This could be a real problem for Barcelona. The Brazilian has hit the turf with nobody near him. That suggests that Neymar has sustained a muscular injury here.

Atletico Madrid tend to be at their best in cup competitions, in a straight knockout format, but they have a task on their hands if they are to see off Barcelona in this one.

That goal could have a huge impact on this tie as a whole. Barcelona now have a hugely valuable away goal. Will that change the gameplan and approach of Atletico Madrid?

That was a sensational goal from Suarez, but it all came from the intervention that Mascherano made in the centre of the park. He broke up an Atleti move and moved the ball on.

That was an opportunity for the away side. Neymar's corner kick into the Atletico Madrid penalty area was dangerous, but in the end the home side are able to clear.

Barcelona are missing both Iniesta and Busquets, and so Mascherano is playing in the centre of midfield. The Argentine needs to play the role that Busquets plays so effectively.

The away side have alreay taken a grip of the contest in terms of possession, but Atletico Madrid will carry a real threat on the counter attack through Griezmann and Carrasco.

Barcelona have had the better of Atletico Madrid in recent meetings between the two clubs, but keep in mind that this is a 180 minute match. The tie is played over two legs.

So this has all the makings of an excellent match. Both these teams are struggling somewhat in La Liga and so the Copa del Rey is a priority for both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
