Good evening and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of the Copa del Rey quarter final first leg between Sevilla and Barcelona. We'll bring you all the action as it happens. Kick off is at 8.30pm.

A dreadfully poor performance from Barcelona, but Sevilla made the most of it and have given themselves a real chance of making the semi finals of the Copa del Rey. They deserved their win and could have actually established a bigger first leg lead. Nonetheless, Machin will be pleased. Valverde, not so much.

It was a good cross into the area from Banega, but the Barcelona does just enough this time to clear the danger. Where was that resolve for the two Sevilla goals?

Is there one last chance left in this match? Sevilla seem quite happy to keep the ball near the corner flag. Vidal fouls Vazquez and that's just foolish from the Chilean midfielder.

The second leg at Camp Nou will be a completely different proposition for Sevilla, especially if Messi is back in the Barcelona team. But they have given themselves a real chance.

One last change for Sevilla and it's Arana who comes on for the impressive Escudero.

Coutinho and Suarez were brought off the bench to change this game for Barcelona, but both have been poor. In fact, the Catalans might have been better off sticking with Boateng and Malcom.

An away goal for Barcelona would completely change the dynamic of this tie ahead of the return leg at Camp Nou, but on the basis of their toothlessness so far, that doesn't look likely.

Alba picks up a yellow card for going through the back of Vazquez.

You cannot understate the influence of Messi on this Barcelona team. They have missed him greatly this evening. He will be back for the second leg, though. That will be a different story.

Ben Yedder dedicated his goal to Emiliano Sala.

Header wide! That was an opportunity for Pique. He got on the end of the corner kick delivery to the back post, but Soriano was never really worried about that. It's still 2-0.

Barcelona need to be careful that two doesn't become three. As things are, they can probably just about salvage things at Camp Nou in the return leg. 3-0 would be a different story.

One last change for Barcelona, with Alba coming on for the last 10 minutes. He replaces Semedo.

This match is eerily similar to the first leg of the last 16 tie against Levante for Barcelona. In the end, they got an away goal, but will they be that fortunate this evening?

The defending from Barcelona for that second Sevilla goal was just as dismal was it was for the first. Lenglet appeared to switch off the back post, which allowed Ben Yedder in to score.
