Martial rarely gets animated - a disappointed shrug as he fails to win a free-kick is about as excitable as he gets.

Martial and Coman haven't really sparked into life just yet. Space is at a premium and there's not been much of an opportunity for either of the pair to stretch their legs and expose the Albanian full-backs.
28'
Deschamps sighs and leans back in his seat. This is not what he was looking for when he made the decision to drop his big names and test out a new team shape.
27'
Payet attempts another delicate through-ball but it's slightly too intricate and runs out of play. The midfielder has been pulling the strings nicely for France, but most of the options are in front of the Albanian back-line.
25'
This is not dissimilar to France's opening game against Romania, where they struggled to click in the first half and threatened to get a little bit frustrated by a defensively organised opponent.
24'
A low cross into the box is claimed by Lloris, but the French captain shouts his disapproval at Evra and Martial on the left for allowing the ball in.
22'
Albania have come into this game with a clear plan - keep it tight, play for a point and hope for the odd chance on the break to maybe snatch a win. For them this tournament will come down to the game against Romania next up, where a win would give them a great chance of progressing. Anything tonight would be a bonus.

Payet and Matuidi link up nicely in midfield and the West Ham man threats a lovely pass into the feet of Martial in the box. The forward attempts to unleash a shot, but again he's closed down before he can pull the trigger.
18'
Deschamps will be disappointed with the lack of pace that his team have shown in possession so far. Speed of pass is what this French side needs to unlock such a solid opponent, but it's all been a little bit too predictable from the hosts.

Ajeti slices a clearance behind for a corner and breathes a sigh of relief as he glances up at his team-mates. That could have gone anywhere.
15'
Coman shows his rapid acceleration to try and get in behind the Albanian defence, but has to settle for a throw-in. The whistles have started in Marseille and the longer this game goes on the more nervy and demanding the restless home crowd will become.
14'
Martial finds a bit of space for the first time in the game and opens himself up on the corner of the box to attempt a trademark curling shot into the far corner. There's not quite enough space for him to get the shot away though and Albania's defenders crowd him out.
12'
Lenjani has a pop from distance, but gets underneath it and sends his shot ballooning well over the bar. That's the first meaningful attempt of the game.
10'
Giroud slips as he attempts to control a difficult pass over the top, but it's encouraging that he was able to beat the offside trap and give the centre-backs something to worry about in behind.
9'
Albania pinch possession and break up field. There's not much support for Lenjani, but he does well to keep the ball and give the underdogs a chance to enjoy a bit of possession in French territory.
8'
Payet is dropping deep to dictate play, with Martial and Coman sticking to their wings to make sure the Albanian defence is as stretched as possible.
7'
The Albania fans are bouncing up and down, presumably happy with what they've seen so far and no doubt keen to enjoy this huge occasion.

Albania continue to sit deep behind the ball, content to let France stroke it around at the back.
