It was good play from Grosicki and Lewandowski, who did the defender with a dummy, leaving Blaszczykowski in space to coolly slide the ball into the bottom corner.

GOAL! The Poles bursts forward on the counter attack through Grosicki, who cuts inside and plays the ball to Blaszczykowski in space who tucks the ball into the net.

Switzerland have another corner after Dzemaili's deflected drive is tipped over the bar. Djourou gets his head to the ball but its straight to the keeper.

GOOD CHANCE! The Swiss win a corner down the left. It's a good cross which falls to Schar who has plenty of space but his diving header is straight at the keeper.

Switzerland have definitely improved in the last third, Shaqiri is finding more space.

The Swiss have a free-kick in a dangerous position after a handball by Glik. Shaqiri's cross is flicked on and cleared. Poland hit them on the break, the ball is crossed in on the right, it evades Lewandowski but falls to Milik at the back post who toe pokes his shot over.

Good defending from Behrami to tackle Blaszczykowski and concede a corner. The set piece is whipped in, Krychowiak has a free header but puts it over, what a chance!

The game has become very scrappy indeed, Poland have lost the intensity and tempo they had at the start.

Rodriguez cuts inside and unleashes a drive from around 30 yards that flies well wide.

Blaszczykowski has gone off the field to have treatment on his ankle.

Mehmedi's cross is blocked on the left wing and its a corner. The set piece is a good one and Dzemaili gets his head to the ball but his effort goes over.

Dzemaili is fouled and the Swiss have a free-kick in a decent position midway through the half. For some reason Rodriguez, opts to shoot and his effort goes straight into the wall, what a waste.

Surprisingly, the officials have deemed that sot took a deflection and have awarded another corner. Blaszczykowski's set piece falls to Milik who snatches at his effort and the ball trickles wide.

Blaszczykowski's cross is blocked for a corner. The Poles play it short, its laid off to Milik whose drive from the edge of the box flies over.

This was the same stadium that Michael Owen scored that wonder goal against Argentina in France 98.

As expected, this is a tight affair between two teams with mean defences.
