GOAL! England 1 (Kjaer o.g. 39) Denmark 1
England are level! Kane splits the Danish defence with a gorgeous pass to get Saka into the area on the right. Saka squares it into the six yard box, where Kjaer slides in to try and divert it away from Sterling, but can only send it into the roof of the net!

GREAT SAVE! Kane gets into some room on the right of the area. He rolls it across the area and Sterling is free, six yards out. He shoots first time, but a brilliant reflex save from Schmeichel keeps it out!
37'
The Danes are utterly fearless here. Instead of hacking it clear on the edge of their own area, Braithwaite finds Maehle and Denmark break quickly. They eventually work it to Hojbjerg on the right of the area, but his cross drifts over everyone and out.
36'
Sterling shoots for England. He can't clear the wall though, and the chance disappears.
35'
A chance for England from a free kick now; Delaney hauls down Kane, around 25 yards out and just to the right of centre.
34'
Sterling breaks dangerously down the left. He checks back, his attempted ball to Mount catches a deflection and a well-timed sliding tackle by Maehle on the edge hooks the loose ball away from Phillips.
32'
That's the first goal direct from a free kick in this tournament; it's also no less than Denmark deserve, as they've been the better side.

GOAL! England 0 Denmark 1 (Damsgaard 30)
What a stunning free kick! Damsgaard lines it up, catches it perfectly to get the up and down dip over the wall, and it screams past Pickford to give Denmark the lead! That is an exceptional hit.

Now then; Shaw wrestles Christensen to the floor, 25 yards out and just off centre. A shooting chance for the Danes...
28'
Oof! Mount stray arms Dolberg as they battle for a loose ball. It's a useful free kick for Denmark in England's half, but nothing more than a quiet word for Mount.
27'
England win a free kick, which Walker aims for the noggin of Maguire near the penalty spot, but Kjaer intervenes.
25'
England have given the ball away needlessly a few times in their own half now. The Danes get hold of it again, Dolberg finds Damsgaard on the left corner of the area, and he arcs one for the top corner. It's a yard or so wide, with Pickford rooted.
21'
A few mistakes creeping in from both sides now, as adrenalin hands over the floor to tension. It's scrappy in midfield alright, and a lock of knocking it around the back lines outside of that.
18'
Stryger Larsen nutmegs Phillips on the touchline, before Hojbjerg draws a foul from Rice. Denmark are settled right into this now.
16'
Encouragement for Denmark here, as both Hojbjerg and Braithwaite have lashes from distance after mistakes by Phillips and Pickford respectively. From the latter, Denmark earn a corner that Pickford punches clear.
15'
Walker fizzes a ball into Kane's feet on the edge of the Danish area. Kane controls it instantly, spinning around as he does so, before booming a half-volley high over the bar.
13'
It's the first shot in anger of the night, as Kane feeds Sterling on the left of the area. Sterling cuts inside, opening up the chance to shoot on his right, but it's a meek effort straight at Schmeichel.
12'
Mount and Saka exchange passes in a tight space on the right of the Danish area. From there Mount cuts into the Danish area and wins a corner.
9'
Denmark work a nice move down the right, from which Stryger Larsen lofts a first time ball over England's defence for Damsgaard, bursting forth from midfield. For a brief second it looks like he might be in, but Walker's recovery pace nixes the danger.
8'
Maguire piles forwards, and finds Sterling on the left. Sterling gets to the byline and stands up a cross, but Kjaer heads clear from the six yard box.
6'
England have settled first here and Denmark, resplendent in a full red kit tonight, are being pinned back. Kane tries a cross from the right, low and dangerous, but it's a couple of yards beyond Sterling at the back post.
