Lots of hands on heads and pained gestures from Italy supporters in the crowd. They won't be happy with what their side has offered in the attacking third but there's still plenty of time left in this final.

England respond and Shaw darts into space on the left. He drills a dangerous ball into the middle, but it's well defended. The Three Lions continue to be a real menace from wide areas when they do manage to work it down the flanks.

CLOSE! Chiesa fizzes a left-foot shot just past Pickford's left-hand post from 25 yards after a surging run from the right had created an opening. The England stopper wasn't getting that if it was on target.

England haven't threatened for a while but suddenly cause panic in that Italy defence when Kane wins a flick-on. Sterling plays in Mount but the Chelsea man's attempt to return the ball to Sterling as he raced into the area was thwarted.
