Scotland look utterly shocked by what has happened in these opening 10 minutes. Kazakhstan are two goals to the good and this will be a massive mountain for the Scots to climb from here.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Kazakhstan 2 (10 mins - Yan Vorogovskiy) Scotland 0. It's two for Kazakhstan within the opening 10 minutes of the match! This time the pass was played in behind Shinnie and Vorogovskiy got on the end of the ball to slide a finish past Bain and into the back of the Scotland net. What a disaster for the away side.

It seemed that Scotland had actually made a decent start to the game, they had looked dangerous, but one moment of defensive frailty has cost them. Kazakhstan took that chance well.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Kazakhstan 1 (6 mins - Yuri Pertsukh) Scotland 0. What an awful start for Scotland! Their defence seemed to be caught high up the pitch, the ball was played over the top of McKenna, Pertsukh took down the pass and then smashed a finish into the back of the net. It might have clipped the underside of the bar.

Burke to the byline! Great play by the Celtic winger, getting in behind the Kazakhstan defence, but his cut back couldn't find a player in a dark blue shirt and the home side clear.

Palmer gets an early touch down the right side. He's making his Scotland debut here as Patterson can't play on this kind of artificial surface in Astana. How will he cope on his debut?

Kazakhstan have won just one of their last six international fixtures, so Scotland will be confident of picking up three points here. How will those injuries affect them, though? Let's see.
