Spurs just happy to clear this anywhere now. A draw is a decent result and keeps them top.

What a tackle! Rose denies Monaco a tap-in with a goal-saving challenge after Lloris had spilled Dirar's swerving shot from distance.

Lloris will be gutted about that. He's hardly been tested tonight and he was unlucky that the header seemed to squirm underneath him.

GOAL!!!! Monaco are level! It's come out of the blue but the hosts get the ball over the line as Stephan El Shaarawy heads through Lloris from Dirar's sublime right-wing cross. The two subs combine and it's all to play for now!

Another waste for Spurs on the break. N'Jie harshly adjudged offside as he raced clear onto Kane's pass. The counter attack came after Monaco had a penalty appeal turned down after a clumsy tackle by Rose.

Still, with it remaining 1-0 they only need one chance to fall kindly....

Time running out for Monaco who have only given Spurs cause for concern on a couple of occasions.

N'Jie with some nice footwork in the Monaco area, but despite beating three defenders he is eventually overpowered.
