Arsene Wenger's side already has one foot in the semi-final thanks to their 4-1 victory at the Emirates, but in a week of shocks and comebacks the Gunners know it is not yet job complete.

CLOSE! CSKA are piling on the pressure as the half-time whistle approaches. Welbeck can only half clear their corner as far as Bistrovic whose effort is rifled narrowly wide of Cech's goal.

Ramsey is in some pain after a collision with Bistrovic and is forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher. Arsenal are temporarily down to 10 men.

And now the home side are awake! Vitinho, only on as a substitute, snaps at a half-volley and screws his ambitious first-time effort from outside the box, well over the bar.

Is the comeback on? Fedor Chalov breaks the deadlock and CSKA Moscow are ahead on the night.

Kuchaev delivers a great cross, Monreal is beaten in the air by Nababkin whose header is parried by Cech into the path of Chalov and he is perfectly positioned to tap the ball into the net.

CSKA are forced into an early substitution Dzagoev hobbles off to be replaced by Vitinho.

The game is beginning to open up a little, finally. Golovin charges forward and has space to shoot but instead tries to check onto his right-foot and ends up slipping.

Arsenal make a quick break, with Ramsey picking up a great position on the right side of the penalty box. He has Ozil and Welbeck for support in the middle but his pass is behind both of his team mates.

CHANCE! Welbeck delivers a low cross to the back post, but it's slightly too far ahead of Ramsey who would have been left with a simple tap-in had the cross been better.

Arsenal concede possession from a free-kick allowing the hosts to break. Chalov drives forward and tries to slip the ball through to Musa but Ozil, of all players, is back to cover at centre-back and makes the interception.

Kuchaev, wearing no 89 (why not?) is finding lots of space on the left channel for CSKA but seems reluctant to deliver a cross into the penalty box. To be fair it's usually only Musa positioned in a central area and he doesn't offer much of a physical presence.

Play is stopped once again as Mustafi and A. Berezutski clash heads competing for the corner delivery.

Koscielny bravely charges down Dzagoev's shot and the ball breaks kindly for Arsenal who break. Welbeck leads the charge, releasing Lacazette on the right but the Frenchman delays his shot and eventually V. Berezutski makes the block, deflecting the ball behind for a corner.

There are at least five players in the home side's penalty box as Arsenal work the ball to Monreal. He delivers a cross with his favoured right foot but it doesn't beat the first defender. Disappointing.

Ozil is starting to become much more involved in the game now. He drives forward in midfield, spreading the ball to Lacazette who has dropped into a wide position. The Frenchman looks up and delivers a cross but it's straight into the arms of Akinfeev.

Patient build-up play from CSKA Moscow but again there is no end product, this time Bistrovic screws his low shot miles wide of goal.

Arsenal have created little so far and looked a little nervous in defence. In saying that, Cech hasn't had a save to make with 20 minutes on the clock.

Arsenal win a free-kick and again Ozil disappoints with his delivery.

Ozil's corner delivery isn't great and the hosts mop up the danger.

Much better from Arsenal. A lovely ball from Ozil releases Bellerin who then forces a corner: the visitors' first of the game.

Oh, just as I write that Mustafi took too long on the ball in defence and was rushed into a clearance which was blocked by Chalov. Fortunately for Arsenal Cech recovers possession.
