Oh, just as I write that Mustafi took too long on the ball in defence and was rushed into a clearance which was blocked by Chalov. Fortunately for Arsenal Cech recovers possession.
15'
Finally Arsenal are enjoying some possession, after a rather shaky start to the game.
13'
Dzagoev has options in the middle but overcooks his cross and Arsenal have a free-kick.
If the hosts can grab an early goal the complexion of this game completely changes.
12'
Musa makes a clever run into space behind the Arsenal defence but instead of playing his team mate through Nababkin curls in a cross which is cleared by Koscniely.
10'
The set-piece is headed clear, but if I told you Arsenal have made a convincing start I wouldn't be telling the truth. Wenger's side are struggling to keep a hold of the ball; they've been guilty of trying to play their way out of defence and losing possession.
9'
Careless defending from Arsenal as Elneny handles the ball and CSKA Moscow have a decent opportunity to test their rearguard with a free-kick on the right flank.
7'
Play is stopped so Wilshere can receive treatment for a head injury after he took Mustafi's clearance straight in the face.
6'
Koscniely's loose pass to Nababkin has the Arsenal defence retreating but the Frenchman makes amends with an interception to break up the home side's attack.
5'
Manchester United won 4-1 here earlier this season. In fact, the VEB Arena has been anything but a fortress for CSKA Moscow recently: they have been beaten three times at home in Europe this campaign.
4'
CSKA Moscow threaten for the first time this evening as Dzagoev tries to slip a through-pass into the path of Musa but Cech is off his line quickly to retrieve the ball.
3'
It's been widely reported that the travelling supporters have been made extremely welcome in Moscow, they were even provided with free hats in the stadium to keep themselves warm!
2'
Arsenal are in their best form of the season, having won their last six games.
They will be asked questions this evening though, in front of a raucous crowd who will demand better from the hosts after their woeful performance last week.

KICK-OFF!
We are underway in Russia, where it's already after 10pm. It could be a very late night for extra-time...
20:03
It's a 30,000 sell-out in the VEB Arena and Arsenal's record in Russia is woeful - is there any chance of a shock result this evening? After this remarkable week, only a fool would rule it out.
Kick-off is NEXT!
20:00
CSKA's back-three is 108 years old combined (Ignashevich is 38, Berezutski twins are 35). It's virtually the same defence the Russian giants had way back in 2004!

PRE-MATCH STAT
Arsenal are aiming to reach their first European semi-final since 2008/09, when they faced Manchester United in the Champions League after eliminating Villarreal in the quarter-final
19:50
Wenger has been speaking to BT Sport before kick-off...

DID YOU KNOW?
Only once previously has a team lost a first leg Europa League knockout tie by three goals and progressed to the next round - Valencia against FC Basel at the quarter-final stage in 2013/14 (lost first leg 3-0, won second leg 5-0).
19:40
The hosts are missing highly-rated Pontus Wernbloom who is reportedly missing out with an injury. The Swede has four goals in Europe this season and is undoubtedly a massive miss for CSKA Moscow.
Kristijan Bistrovic, 20, is a surprise inclusion, given the Croatian midfielder who has only eight minutes of European football this season.
