Seen a replay of Rooney's disallowed goal and it did indeed look like Hernandez fouled Hughes.

United shift the ball from right to left with ease and Rooney sweeps home but Hernandez was adjudged to have fouled Hughes in the build up. Soft enough but a small mercy for Fulham.

Scholes catches Sidewell in possession but Aaron Hughes sweeps up well as United look to attack.

Great control from Berbatov allows him to run forward but then he overruns it a bit and Smalling gathers his attempted through pass.

United nearly go up the other end and score straight away but Kagawa fires over a great chance after being found inside the box.

GOAL FULHAM!!! It has been a torrid afternoon for Aaron Hughes but he has headed home Karagounis's corner . Won't be significant in this match but United have been conceding too many goals from set-plays.

Berbatov feeds Dejagah and he wins a corner.

Evra bursts forward and he plays it to Hernandez who tries to curl a shot into the top corner but he skies it over. He is looking for his first ever Manchester United hat-trick.

Just had a shot of Martin Jol – safe to say he does not look happy.

Hard really to know how to comment on the rest of this game – it has become such a non-event of a contest. You would think United were playing a non-league side such is the gulf in class.

Dejagah on for Ruiz for Fulham while United bring on Kagawa and Valencia for Giggs and the excellent Anderson.

United are going to make a couple of changes and why not? This has the feel of a pre-season friendly now.

Well if this was a boxing match the referee would have stopped by now but Fulham, and the rest of us, have over 20 more minutes of this to put up with.

Another goal for United!!!! Embarrassing for Fulham at this stage. United are able to build without being touched – the ball is played into Hernandez into the box – he turns Hughes and gets off a shot– the ball deflects off Hughes and into the net. Harsh on Schwarzer but not Fulham who have been truly awful.
