Alex Bruce looks to have run his race. He is down on the floor and signals to the bench that he needs to be replaced. “It’s gone,” he says, referring to his hamstring.

Cazorla’s corner from the right is met by the towering Koscielny, but the Frenchman’s header is wayward and the ball rolls out for a goal kick.
64'
Cazorla’s ball looking for Ramsey down on the left touchline is a peach, but Bruce races across to make a tremendous sliding challenge on the edge of his penalty area.
63'
Sanogo took to Twitter ahead of the game to mock Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho for failing to win a trophy this season. The striker will need to help his side come back here, or face a fair bit of stick.

We now have our first change of the final. Podolski is the man to make way, with Yaya Sanogo coming on. A chorus of boos greet the substitution, from the Gunners section of the crowd.

We have our first yellow card of the final, and it is Huddlestone. The combative midfielder cynically trips Cazorla and goes into the book. He could do with calming down.

Huge shouts for a penalty as Giroud is sent tumbling in the box. Huddlestone loses his man and tries to recover by pulling him back. Nothing is given, but that certainly should have been a penalty.

Ozil’s set-piece 30 yards from goal is lofted into the box. Koscielny is up early, but the ball flicks off the head of Bruce and just past the left-hand post. Corner.

Huddlestone stretches his legs now, bursting down the right before sending Fryatt into the penalty area. The striker really should cross for Rosenior at the back post, but dwells on the ball and runs it out for a goal kick.

Great play from Fryatt, who chases down what looks like a lost cause, keeping the ball in play and evading the challenge of Koscielny. The striker feeds Huddlestone, who shoots over from 30 yards.

Bruce is made to receive treatment on the sidelines, and Hull are down to ten men for the moment. They have possession of the ball, though.
53'
Bruce is now down and requires some treatment. He flies into a challenge with Giroud and wins the ball, but the Frenchman catches Bruce with his studs. Nothing intentional, but painful.
52'
Meyler chases down Cazorla and loses his shin pad. Play is stopped and the Hull man takes an awfully long time to sort himself out.
51'
Ozil finds some space down the left flank and gets a yard headstart on Chester. The German cross the ball, smashing it back across the face of the goal, but there’s nobody there.
50'
Arsenal players playing it around amongst themselves, but Hull have started this second half in a lively mood and are closing down their opponents, pressing them back into their own half.

Sagna and Cazorla look to move swiftly down the right, but Rosenior is there again to make the challenge. Sagna can’t recover well enough this time, and commits the foul.
47'
Arsenal dispossessed early on in this second half, with Sagna slipping to allow Rosenior burst down the left. Sagna recovers well to make a well-timed sliding challenge.
