Arsenal dispossessed early on in this second half, with Sagna slipping to allow Rosenior burst down the left. Sagna recovers well to make a well-timed sliding challenge.

The second half is under way. Arsenal get it going.

One final chance for Arsenal to break at the death. Meyler’s pass is picked off and Cazorla carries the ball forward. He gets to within 30 yards of the goal and looks to find Giroud with a reverse ball, but Davies reads it well and clears. And that’s the half-time whistle.

The Hull fans are now whistling, urging Lee Probert to blow his whistle and end this first half. Their team are in the lead, and they sure want it to stay that way.

Giroud breaks down the right and gets to the byline before crossing for the onrushing Ozil. His pass is weak and rolls behind the German.

Fryatt through now after muscling past Fabianski. He only has the keeper to beat, but the ref pulls play back for a foul. The linesman, just 20 yards away from the action, doesn’t deem it a foul, but play is still brought back.

The Gunners are seeing most of the ball as we enter the final few minutes of this first half. Cazorla guilty of losing the ball now and Hull look to counter. Fryatt receives the ball, and is the lone man in the Arsenal half. He makes strides towards the penalty area, but is tackled by Koscielny.

Elmohamady sees Livermore smart run from central midfield towards the left flank. He has the beating of Gibbs and looks to cross for Fryatt. It’s overhit and Arsenal have a throw-in.

In the day's other HUGE fixture, Barca have taken the lead against Atleti in their winner-takes-all clash. Don't think about looking away from this one for a second, but if you want to open another tab, then here's the link. (Web only)

Huddlestone has a pop at goal, and it is a wonderful effort. The midfielder arrives to the bouncing ball and sends a piledriver towards Fabianski’s goal. It clears the bar by a fair distance, but a good strike nonetheless.

The Tigers have the chance to break, with a wonderful step over from Meyler allowing Quinn to lead the attack. He’s upended, but Fryatt takes control and play is allowed to continue. Sagna is soon over to dispossess the Hull man.

Hull under a bit of pressure now. Arsenal looking to turn the screw with just over ten minutes remaining in this frantic first half. Elmohamady and Rosenior are tucked in and are making the Hull back line difficult to penetrate.

The corner is cleared, but only as far as the 18-yard box. Arteta is the first to it and looks to send a wicked volley on goal. Davies is there, though, throwing his body at the ball and making the block.
32'
Sagna moving forward again now. He plays a one-two with Cazorla and receives the return ball under pressure from Bruce. The full-back looks to cross, but the ball takes a deflection and out for a corner.
31'
Ramsey looks to do a little too much as Arsenal move forward in numbers. The Welshman has options both left and right, but tries to nutmeg Huddlestone and is tackled. Still a very end-to-end match.

The corner is cleared, but Arteta sends the ball back into the box. Sagna is up well and nods it down into the path of Giroud, but the striker is slow out of the blocks and can’t keep it in.
