They must be considered amongst the favourites for this competition after that display, while MK Dons have work to do on the evidence of today. Willian goes down clutching his ankle. That's a concern for Chelsea, given the winger's brilliant form of late, but thankfully he's going to be okay to continue.

Today couldn't have gone much better for Guus Hiddink. He's been able to give some game time to young players like Loftus-Cheek and Traore, has seemingly got Oscar and Hazard back in top form, and he's even had time to rest Costa.

The excellent Carruthers is replaced by Powell for the final ten minutes.

Chelsea will fancy their chances of winning this competition, but there are a lot of big clubs still left in it. The draw for the fifth round follows this match.

Baba bursts forward and is in acres of space on the edge of the box, but he picks out Troare rather than the unmarked Ivanovic with his pull-back and the chance for a sixth goal goes begging.

Maynard replaces Bowditch for MK Dons.

Willian goes for goal from the free-kick, but for once his set-piece quality is lacking and the wall stands firm to block the shot.

Walsh is booked for a foul on the promising Loftus-Cheek.

Pedro hasn't really clicked as a Chelsea player since joining from Barcelona, but boy is he good to watch. The Spaniard produces a ridiculous no-look pass to find Fabregas inside the box, but the angle is tight for Cesc and his shot is saved by the goalkeeper.

Ivanovic pushes high from full-back and looks to put a cross in, but his delivery is cut out.

The Chelsea fans have been enjoying their day out during this second half. There's been hardly a peep from the home supporters, with the visiting stand signing themselves hoarse with mentions of Wembley, John Terry's positive attributes and other such things.

Willian has been Chelsea's best player this season, comfortably, and the Brazilian has looked up for it since coming off the bench. Poor MK Dons. There's no respite.

Williams comes on for the Dons. The Welsh international is on loan from Crystal Palace and has something about him, but he won't be looking forward to the next 25 minutes of chasing shadows.

This is tough to watch now. MK Dons are being given the run around and the score-line could get embarrassing. Well, it could get more embarrassing.

Hiddink turns to his bench again and brings on Pedro and Willian for Oscar and Hazard. It's ridiculous how much quality Chelsea have in their squad.
