Today's referee is Michael Oliver, who recently has looked like he's found a bit of authority after an unconvincing start to his officiating career.

Villa appeal for a penalty as Richards goes down inside the box, but there's no interest at all from the ref.

What was missing in this game for the fans? Well, it wasn't rain that's for sure, but that's exactly what they've got; bucket-loads of the stuff.

Harriman lines up a shot on the edge of the box, but he waits an age before pulling the trigger and the chance goes begging.

Gueye gives away a foul in midfield to bring an extended spell of Villa possession to an early end. That was a slightly harsh decision, but the ref has been consistent and isn't settling for any agricultural stuff today.

Villa are starting to look a bit more comfortable, but the lead is just the one goal and they must be desperate for a win after such a terrible season, so expect panic in the second half if they fail to extend their advantage.

Wood can't keep his shot down under pressure from Okore, but it was terrific, fluid football to set him up, which will encourage Gareth Ainsworth in the Wycombe dugout.

Bunn does well to punch away the corner when crowded in on his line. It's old-school tactics from Wycombe, but it's giving the keeper problems.

The hosts win a corner and the crowd get to their feet to urge their players on. It's hotting up in Buckinghamshire.
