'Boro should have tried marking at least one of the players in that move, but haven't got going yet.

GOAL! Middlesbrough 0-1 Manchester City. Silva scores - Toure pings a ball to Zabaleta on the right, he plays in a cross to Sterling, who mishits, and Silva stabs it in.

The continued defence of Joe Hart is an odd one. He'd been shaky for several seasons and his international performances were often bizarre. Guardiola should be criticised - maybe - for using Bravo for so long instead of Caballero, but not for replacing attempting to raise standards from merely quite good.

'Boro have Negredo, Valdes and Negredo on the bench, as they keep their Premier League survival as top priority. Nevertheless, it's an otherwise familiar line up. The second best twin ever, Fabio, starts too.
11:55
It's a strong City line up, with no obvious weaknesses. Sergio Aguero isn't rested, despite being their most important player with no Gabriel Jesus in reserve. Bravo starts with a chance to repair his reputation.
